You are not imagining it…
This newsie post is a shift from the usual weekly personal essay/blog format. With so many exciting events happening in my writing world, and because so many of you are not active on social media, I want YOU to get all the scoops, too! So, once a month, I’ll update you HERE on timely items, upcoming events, and other happenings in my writer world.
Don’t worry… I will continue to provide three fresh essays every month inspired by my adoption experience, family, community, nature, and life’s quirky moments. I love writing on these topics! Equally important to me is receiving your comments and feedback about the subject of the week. So, keep your feedback coming!
NEWS ROUNDUP

DID YOU KNOW?
August is National Back to School Month and National Immunization Awareness Month. It is the month we show Respect for Parents Day, as well as recognize National Friendship Day, American Family Day, and National Sisters Day.
AND FINALLY,
Let me know, here, if there is something else that you’d like me to consider writing about.
P.S. I am currently reading The Prozac Monologues by Willa Goodfellow. It’s a memoir written with tongue-in-cheek humor by a female minister who navigates issues with medications and a proper medical diagnosis. I’m gaining insight about depression, bi-polar disorder, and the frustrations surrounding the medications treating those mood disorders. Fascinating and revealing.
