There are many adoption blogs.  The ones that I follow closely deal with the adoptees point of view. Healthline.com did a feature on the best adoptee adoption blogs of 2017. The blogs I recommend are on that list.
1) The Lost Daughters (www.thelostdaughters.com)
Founded in 2011, Lost Daughters is a collaboration of adult women who were adopted as children.  For adoptees, this is a wonderful space to express oneself safely. In 2014, they compiled an anthology of their work. One of my favorite recent posts is10 Lessons Being Adopted Taught Me”.

2) The Adopted Ones Blog (www.theadoptedones.wordpress.com)
The authors of this site are adoptees from the Baby Scoop Era, which covers the time period following WWII through the 1970s.  What intrigues me about this blog is the parallel of my own experience to one of the founders. My health history or lack thereof forced me to address my adoption story.  I benefitted from the answers I uncovered too. The recent post, “My child’s story is different…” deeply resonated with me.

3) No Apologies For Being Me  (www.noapologiesforbeingme.blogspot.com)
This site is written and run by Lynn Grubb.  I like this site because the author is direct, discusses DNA testing, and suggests documentaries.  Lynn is also the author of “The Adoptee Survival Guide. “You Have No Idea What You Are Talking About” was a recent post that hit home with me.

4)  Adoptionfind Blog (www.adoptionfind.wordpress.com)
V.L. Brunskill is a writer, reunited adoptee, former music journalist and she writes an adoption search and healing blog.  Her post “Adoptees React to Immigrant Kids in Cages (Family Separation Not New) is timely.

5)  Dear Adoption (www.dearadoption.com)
Another great site that gives voice to adoptees of varying ages, race, and adoption experience.  The guest blog posts can be intensely personal. One piece of mine was featured in June this year, called “This Is My Bloodline.”
